With over 15 years in the IT world, Georgi has worn many hats—starting at HP in 2010 and for the last 9 years at IBM, he was managing local and multinational teams, and leading global transformations, skills development strategy, and innovation across the board.
Right now, he’s the Technical Vitality Development Manager at IBM’s largest technical support organization, where he’s shaping the skills and career growth strategy for technical experts. But that’s just one part of his work! As an IBM University Relations ambassador, he’s passionate about inspiring the next generation—whether it’s through lectures at universities, high schools, and STEM events, or by developing cutting-edge tech content for students.
One of his most exciting projects? ENDURANCE—a groundbreaking IBM & Endurosat partnership that launched the first IBM & Red Hat cubesat mission into space! 🚀
In 2021, he co-founded the Open Innovation Community affiliate in Bulgaria, and in 2023, he co-founded the IBM Sofia Accelerator—a corporate venture program helping tech startups in Eastern Europe scale their innovations with IBM technology. In 2024-2025, Georgi became an IBM Quantum Ambassador and a co-owner of few patents in the AI, Quantum, and Space technologies area.
